Customer Reviews

What do customers say after purchasing the Jensen Marine Sirius Satellite Ready stereo?

“Great stereo. I installed this in a 14 Caribe(very wet boat). Stereo is easy to use and can take a lot of water hitting it. The sound is great. I have a 1000 watt amp and four speakers ( DC Gold). For such a small boat and having to mount them at your feet the sound is excellent ! No need for a sub. installed the pocket for ipod . Keeps it dry and is easy to get in and out.”

“The control unit is nice, compact, and stylish. Finally I can control the radio from the helm without having to duck into the cuddy. The unit also controls my classic Ipod, so that I can mount it in the cabin and out of the elements. The unit sounds great. This is a fantastic product.”

Marine CD player review

The PYLE PLCD3MR AM/FM-MPX IN -Dash Marine CD/MP3 Player/USB is a nice option for a marine CD player . The radio has good reception using the built in antenna on the boat. No static or fading. Works great.

I used a couple of different SD cards to test it. I filled up a 2GB and a 1GB card, both formatted to FAT32. Popped them in and hit the shuffle button. No issues, both played just fine. One card I set up with directories and was able to skip from one directory to another. CD player works great as well.

Sound was better than expected in a boat at normal volume. There was some distortion when the volume was up really loud. Added new speakers and it sounds much better.

For a marine cd player in this price range I would say it is a good buy and I would definitely recommend it.
